SUU Veteran Resource and Support Center supports military connected students to ensure their success.

The Veterans Resource and Support Center exists to retain and graduate veterans by delivering programs and services designed to recruit, retain, and support Veteran Students and Veteran-Beneficiary Students as they pursue their education goals and the achievement of skills needed to lead productive and meaningful lives. The term “veteran student” includes any personnel qualified for Federal or State veterans’ benefits, non-benefit using veterans, and benefit using family members.

For every mentor meeting you attend in June, you will be placed in a drawing for a $20 SUU Campus Store Gift Card!

The military connected mentor program gives me a chance to get to know you, your goals, identify any obstacles you are facing and provide resources or support. You can participate in any of the meetings below or just schedule for general assistance.

--First Semester Foundations
To provide a strong start, this meeting is held during your first semester at SUU to get to know you and provide foundational resources (Students who have already been at SUU can still have their initial meeting)

--Midpoint Meet Up
Halfway through your degree we will check in to see what's gone well, obstacles you might be facing, and ensure you are on track

--Get Ready to Graduate
A few semesters before you graduate we ensure you are ready for commencement and discuss career plans, interview/resume prep, and job placement resources so you can hit the ground running after graduation

Don't forget that attending mentor meetings completes a task for the Outstanding Military Connected Student: Bell Tower to Bell Tower Program!
