SUU Non-Traditional Students Non-Traditional Students at SUU are students who are:
-25+ years old
-Married, Widowed or Divorced

Southern Utah University is home to over 4,000 Non-Traditional Students which makes up about 40% of its student population. We understand that starting or returning to school as a Non-Traditional student can be extra difficult- that's why we are here to support and assist you in any way we can through your schooling.

SUU's Undergraduate Writing Center is always here to support you through the writing requirements in all your classes! Open daily, they have writing tutors, a lounge space for students to write in, a computer lab, an online grammar guide, live feedback for your writing either in-person or online, and they even hold annual writing competitions!

SUU's Health and Wellness Center offers confidential counseling, a quiet wellness room for relaxation or virtual appointments, bi-tappers and sunlamps to borrow, an RX box to drop off expired medications.... And of course a self-care station where you can help yourself to cough drops, band-aids, period products, Emergen-C, and so much more!
