Pizza and Gab last night was also a great gathering of students, alumni, and friends! Thanks to Provo City for hosting our MPA group!

We couldn’t be more proud of our case study teams who competed in the city manager case competition at BYU this week. This was by far the most complex case we have ever had. Twenty-one pages of data on water rights, conservation, growth and affordable housing. The teams had 7 days to prepare their recommendations for resolution. Although not successful, we express our heartfelt congratulations to the University of Utah. We feel it an honor to associate with our peers and colleagues from the BYU and U of U programs. See you next year!

Our Higher Education MPA Capstone team crossed the aisle this semester and partnered with Dixie Tech in monitoring, evaluating, and making policy recommendations on technical college bills being debated in the legislature this year. Thank you, Dixie Tech President Jordan Rushton (MPA alumnus) for the great friend and partner we found in Dixie Tech.
