NVG training is something that all our Helicopter students get to learn. Contrary to popular belief, it's not as easy as putting on a pair of Night Vision goggles and taking off. For example, Helicopters have to be specially outfitted to be NVG ready. 🚁🌙

It was fantastic day to host the Jr. Deputies and share with them what a day in aviation training looks like! 🚁

Several of our student and fully fledged pilots visited 🐻‍❄️ North Elementary school to talk to the kids about helicopter and airplane training. We helped them make paper airplanes to launch out of a snap circuit flight deck as well as try their hand at flying propeller toys 🚁. After all the fun, everyone also got one of our collectible stickers, and a mini foam glider to take home! 🛩️

🛩️ If you go on a hangar tour with us and spot a person in a sage flight suit, that means that they are one of our senior flight instructors. 🚁

We understand that if you apply for a flight program, your goal is pretty clearly to start flight training asap. Although we agree that General Ed courses are important, we do not make you take a semester of purely non-flight classes first.

🛩️With us, when you are accepted for a flight spot, we strive to get you flying your first week of the semester. 🚁

Want to know how bad the Helicopter Pilot shortage is? Let's bring out some numbers. When surveyed by Rotor Pro, 77% of Helicopter Pilots said that the companies they worked for were short of pilots. 🚁

Our program has always had a Veteran presence, with several of our most senior flight instructors having served. In using veteran's benefits like the G.I Bill, the full cost of your flight fees and tuition can potentially be covered. Most of our veteran students qualify for full funding of our program. 🚁
