Earlier this month, members of our team attended the Utah AHEC Primary Care Summit as representatives of Southern Utah AHEC.

Each year, this summit gives us the opportunity to connect with other organizations, hear from panelists, celebrate healthcare professionals, and discuss ways to fortify the state's healthcare system.

There are great things on the horizon for Utah AHEC, and we are so grateful for all those working towards creating more quality medical care throughout Utah!

Our UHS Opening Social was a success!

Thank you to all of our students who joined us to kick off another year of Utah Health Scholars. It was great to see everyone connecting, enjoying some food, picking up UHS swag, and learning more about the opportunities and events ahead.

Participation needed for a focus group!

The University of Utah’s Community Collaboration and Engagement Team (CCET) will be working with Dr. Rachel Ceballos from the Huntsman Cancer Institute to gather information on disparities in cancer care throughout rural areas. These discussions will be led as an online group with individuals from rural and frontier areas in the intermountain west who have experienced cancer.
