We have our Reading Awards Party on Thursday for all our amazing students! We strongly advise that your children DO NOT wear their best clothes, but rather something you don't mind getting a little dirty, as there will be chalk powder involved! We also need some parent volunteers to help with the fun, so if you have done your background check and the training please consider helping out! It will be a blast!

One of East Elementary’s newer traditions has quickly become one of the sweetest.
Each spring, graduating seniors who once walked these halls return in their caps and gowns for a final walk through East. Our current students line the halls to cheer, clap, and hand out high fives as we celebrate how far these former East Eagles have come.
It is a full-circle moment: little hands reaching up to honor big dreams, and graduates remembering where part of their story began.
We love celebrating this milestone with our East family. 💙🎓

For 75 school years, East Elementary has been more than a building—it’s been a place where memories were made, friendships began, and futures took shape.
Now, it’s time to walk these halls one last time.
Join us for a special Open House as we celebrate the legacy of East and the generations who have called it home.
We invite all alumni, former staff, families, and community members to come back, share memories, and be part of this final chapter in this old building.

🎉 Brag Badge Bash! 🎉
We’re celebrating our amazing East students who earned Brag Badges throughout the year! Students will be called down in grade-level waves to enjoy a sweet root beer float and some extra recess time on the upper grade playground. 🥤🌳
It’s our way of saying: We see your hard work, kindness, leadership, and school spirit — and we’re proud of you! 💙
