Are you a UHS student looking for work? our program is now hiring! 🗄️✨

We are looking for a student worker to assist our Utah Health Scholars program. This is an hourly position, capping at 20 hours per week. Applicants must because a current member of Utah Health Scholars, as well as work-study eligible.

The Utah Health Scholars (UHS) Student Assistant serves as a peer leader, mentor, and representative of the Utah Health Scholars program. Student Assistants support the success and engagement of current and prospective UHS students while helping promote a strong culture of academic achievement, service, leadership, and professional development. Student Assistants are expected to serve as positive role models and contribute to the UHS program through peer mentoring, student engagement, events, recruitment, academic support, and other program activities.

Our UHS Opening Social was a success!

Thank you to all of our students who joined us to kick off another year of Utah Health Scholars. It was great to see everyone connecting, enjoying some food, picking up UHS swag, and learning more about the opportunities and events ahead.

We’re grateful for the incredible students who make UHS such a strong community, and we’re excited for another great year together.

One of our current Utah Health Scholars, Shelby Springall, recently competed at the Miss Utah Competition as Miss Iron County.

Now serving as Miss Color Country, she sat down with KSL to discuss her speed painting talent and her community service initiative called "STEAM: Finding Your Sparkle."
