Due to overnight snow accumulation, current road conditions in some areas of the county and forecasts of snow continuing to fall throughout the morning, all schools in the Iron County School District will be closed for the entire day Friday, Feb. 20, 2026.

A delayed start was considered, but with the shorter Friday schedule, the district is taking a more cautious approach to keep families safe. No afterschool programs will occur. However, some high school athletics may still be held. Please check with coaches. The safety of our families and staff are a top priority. Please stay safe & warm during the storm.
