Cello soloist for April 8 concert. Tickets at myosu.org Chase Radmall began his musical journey at the age of 14 when he first got his hands on a thrift store violin. He immediately joined his middle school orchestra program and came to love music in the years following. He began cello at the age of 15 and took from Kristiana Silver in Payson and progressed quite rapidly. He became Payson High School’s first chair Cellist and section leader and auditioned for SUU in February of 2016. He received a full tuition music scholarship and began to study with Nina Hansen and Jessika soli at the university. Chase has participated in local orchestras in both Payson and Cedar City and has participated in various chamber groups in high school, the university and in the Bayview Conservatory of Music in Petoskey, Michigan where he took lessons with Daniel Tressel. Chase is currently co-section leader of the SUU Symphony orchestra and String ensemble and participates in the Cello Society of Southern Utah, the Utah Millennial Choirs and Orchestra as principal cellist and has found a deep love music through his collaboration with others and dedication to the practice of such.

Viola soloist for April 8. Tickets at myosu.org Hannah Bradshaw began her experience with music at the age of six when she began studying violin with Sara Penny. In the years since then, she has performed with the Suzuki strings, various community pit orchestras, the Orchestra of Southern Utah, and the BYU and SUU Symphony orchestras. She was the Cedar High School Music Sterling Scholar in 2018 and the Region 9 Sterling Scholar runner up in music. A participant in Solo and Ensemble festivals on region and state levels, she earned over 20 superior ratings. In 2016, she, along with her sister, was a featured soloist for the Orchestra of Southern Utah, playing a piece composed by her father, Dr. Keith Bradshaw, commissioned in part by the Barlow Endowment for Music Composition. She began her college education at Brigham Young University and has since relocated to Southern Utah University to finish her degree. She was the runner up for the 2020 UMEA State Solo Competition and a finalist for the 2020 Southwest Symphony Concerto Competition. She has studied violin with Sara Penny and Dr. Paul Abegg, and viola with Sara Penny, Ling Yu, Dr. Paul Abbegg, and Madison Gardner. She currently studies viola at SUU with Lindsay Szczesny.
