Celebrating a truly special milestone with our student teachers! It was wonderful to gather for dinner and reflect on the hard work, growth, and dedication that brought this group to the finish line. Each of them has poured so much into their field experience, and it shows in the confidence and passion they carry forward.
We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and canβt wait to see the impact they will make in their classrooms and communities. Congratulations to our future teachers! ππ

We couldn't educate the next generation of teachers without the incredible support of our local mentor educators! Today, we are shining a spotlight on two phenomenal teachers who have gone above and beyond for our practicum and student teachers this semester. πβ¨
Kathryn Swain | Canyon View Middle School
This 8th grade history teacher has been an absolutely amazing support to one of our secondary education Block students, Jack Newkirk (pictured beside her). Her passion for helping the next generation of teachers is obvious in everything she does, and our students are so lucky to learn from her knowledge and dedication! πΊ
Sarah Hulet | North Elementary
This amazing 4th grade teacher brings a wealth of knowledge to her classroom. She has strongly mentored one of our student teachers this semester, providing the kind of deep, expert guidance that only comes from years of experience and has made all the difference for our students and program. In the third image, you can see Sarah and her student teacher, Makayla, were celebrating a win and got to wear crowns- as they should! π
Thank you, Kate and Sarah, for being such amazing examples. We are so grateful for your expertise and your willingness to guide our future educators!
