SUU Bands

Never ready for the season to end. But it did.
A couple days removed from our final at the and still processing.

The SUU Sound Machine made the annual trip, gave everything they had, and represented SUU & Cedar City with pride, regardless of the scoreboard.

Wild swings these last 4 years, from winning the conference in 2023, to being ousted in the first round. Let’s see what the has in store for us next year!!!

The Southern Utah University “RED” trumpet ensemble has advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2026 National Trumpet Competition!

This years annual event will be hosted at the University of Iowa in March. This marks the second time that an SUU trumpet ensemble has reached the live rounds at NTC.

Congratulations to our students on this outstanding achievement! 🎺🔴
