Exciting news!! We are thrilled to announce Mr. Jamie Davidson as our school's new Principal!

Jamie Davidson holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Mars Hill University, a Master of Music and Worship from Liberty University, and a Master of Divinity from Liberty University. He and his wife, Allison, are blessed with one son, Elishah.

God has called Jamie to serve in both Christian education and pastoral ministry. He spent 19 years as a band director in the Virginia and Tennessee public school systems before helping establish Restoring Hope Christian Academy in Hendersonville, Tennessee, where he served as Headmaster and taught Latin, Logic, and Bible. Throughout his educational career, Jamie has been passionate about helping students pursue academic excellence while developing a Biblical worldview that prepares them to faithfully serve Christ.

From 2019 to 2026, Jamie was honored to serve as Upper School Principal, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and Latin Instructor at Cornerstone Christian Academy in Abingdon, Virginia. During his tenure, the upper school experienced significant growth in academic achievement, student morale, and family retention. By God's grace and through the faithful partnership of an outstanding faculty, staff, and school community, the high school consistently maintained a student retention rate exceeding 90%.

Since 2000, Jamie has faithfully served the local church in a variety of pastoral roles, including youth pastor, worship pastor, associate pastor, and most recently, Christian Education Pastor at Grace Fellowship Church in Hansonville, Virginia, where he ministers alongside his wife. He is an ordained bishop in the Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee) and has devoted his ministry to equipping young people and families with the truth of God's Word.

As Head of School at Main Street Christian School, Jamie is honored to teach Bible and Forensic Science while providing spiritual and educational leadership for the school community. He believes that Christian education is a partnership between the home, the church, and the school, working together to cultivate students who love the Lord, pursue wisdom, demonstrate Christlike character, and use their God-given gifts for His glory. Jamie considers it a privilege to serve the families of Main Street Christian School as together they seek to raise the next generation to know Christ and impact the world for Him.
