🚒 Fire Prevention Week ended with an exciting day of learning at Cecilton Elementary! Our students had the opportunity to learn important fire safety lessons and get a close-up look at the amazing emergency vehicles that help keep our community safe.

A huge thank you to the Cecilton Volunteer Fire Company and Hack's Point Volunteer Fire Company for spending time with our students, sharing fire safety information, and making today such a memorable experience. We are grateful for your partnership and all that you do for our community! ❤️🔥

🤫The secret is out!

Today was an UNDERCOVER Staff Spirit Day at Cecilton, which means our students had absolutely no idea why their teachers suddenly showed up looking like they were taking the lesson plans to Dollywood. 🤠

The mission: Dress like Dolly Parton. Tell the kids NOTHING. Act completely normal.

Big hair? ✅
Rhinestones? ✅
Denim? ✅
Confused children wondering what was happening to the adults in the building? ✅✅✅

Just another perfectly normal Friday at Cecilton Elementary. 🐯

Talk about showing up for the team! Today, 98.5% of our students are in their seats, ready to learn, and giving it their all.

At Cecilton Elementary, "Together We Are Champions," and days like today prove what happens when our whole community works as a team. Huge shoutout to our Tiger families for helping our players get to school on time and game-ready!

Let's keep this winning streak going all week long! 🐅💙

Should you have any questions, please contact our Community School Advisor, Kim Morris, at @ccps.org.

Volunteer Sessions are as follows:

Today our Tigers kicked off PBIS with a high-energy PBIS Pep Rally! 🎉 Our students and staff came together to celebrate what it means to be part of Team Tiger and build excitement for a PAWSome school year!

There was plenty of cheering, smiling, school spirit, and Tiger pride as we celebrated the positive choices that help make Cecilton a great place to learn and grow. 🐯

We can’t wait to see our Tigers show their PAWS all year long! 🐾
