Do you find that you are having trouble hearing others and following along with conversation? Research shows that hearing aids plus speechreading gives the best results; maybe Speechreading and Coping Classes are for you. You will learn basic speechreading (lip reading) plus strategies to communicate and cope better, and receive information on subjects of interest to the hard of hearing. You will also meet others who share your challenges and are determined to do something about them.

The course runs from April 12-May 17 from 6:30-8:30pm.

Our Literacy Coordinator was presented with a cheque last night from the St. Albert Community Foundation to fund a program for 2023 for tutors to receive training to help our English language learners and those wanting help with reading, writing, numeracy and math, basic digital skills and more. We thank the foundation for their support and we were honoured to be recognized with the other 14 Grant Recipients.
