For this year’s SGA Christmas project we are teaming up with the Family Sunshine Center! They help house women and children who have been victims of s*x trafficking or abuse. We will start taking donations starting tomorrow December 9th until Thursday December 17th! Above is the list of grades and what they can bring to donate!

SGA will be having a bake sale tent at the Macon East holiday market on November 2nd from 9:30AM-4:00PM. All proceeds are going to the AISA state project which is Camille House, a refuge for victims of human trafficking. Starting this Wednesday, students can dress down in jeans or khakis and a pink shirt for $1 to support the Joy to Life Foundation. (Excludes Wed. October 23rd)

Our SGA officers attended the Fall workshop this morning to learn more about our state project- Camille Place. Their mission is to provide refuge and restoration to female minors who are survivors of human trafficking; empowering them through the renewal of spirit, soul, and body.

The month of September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The month of September is our annual opportunity to create awareness of the impact of cancer in so many children and their families around the world. For this campaign we use the color gold to honor these children. In the words of Emma’s mom, Megan “just spread the gold and help bring awareness.” We love you, Emma and are praying for strength and healing.
Please join us in praying for Emma and wearing gold for the month of September as she continues her fight. She begins a very intense treatment this week, and she needs our prayers!

Macon East SGA invites you to our annual movie night on August 9 at 7:00! Movie will begin at sundown. This year's showing by popular vote will be Cars! Drinks, food, and popcorn will be available. Don't miss your chance to get a Bama Chill Co. shaved ice! Bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy a movie under the stars. We can't wait to see everyone there!
