That's what Fred Goodwin paid Ronnie Cox to purchase the Potato Pile Buck.
The Cox is Maine's number one typical. At 209 2/8 gross and 193 2/8 net, this buck isn't going to be easy to topple from the top spot. After all, it has sat atop the state's typical throne since it was taken during the 1965 fi****ms season.
The Cox currently ranks 90th among net-scoring typicals in the B&C record book.
Everyone agrees that its score would change dramatically under today's scoring rules.
Fred Goodwin became a legendary hunter and woodsman. He also amassed a huge collection of Wi******er Rifles and world-class whitetail antlers.
