ONGOING HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION – INFORMATION STILL NEEDED

The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, continues to actively investigate the unsolved murder of Eric Maybin, which occurred in May 2024.

On May 23, 2024, at approximately 11:25 p.m., Mr. Maybin was shot inside his residence on Comet Drive in Winnsboro after gunfire was directed into the home. Despite ongoing investigative efforts, this case remains open and active.

🔍 Investigators know there are individuals who have information about what occurred—whether directly or indirectly.
You may not have been involved. You may not believe what you know matters. But even small details help us better understand what happened and who is responsible.
