Announcement by ASL Rose:

I regret to inform you that I have been forced to cancel the publishing order with Quality Book Publishers. They consistently failed to meet their deadlines for printing copies of the Deaf Cinderella book, and did not respond to my repeated inquiries about the delivery. I suspect they may have scammed me, and I've already reported them to the appropriate authorities for investigation.

Therefore, I will be issuing full refunds to all who have pre-ordered the book. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause. If I had my own publishing equipment, I could ensure timely printing of my books. However, I've realized that I can no longer afford to print the special edition of Deaf Cinderella through an out-of-state printing company. So the book will be taken off the shelf permanently. It’s best to retire the project and leave it that way.

I have refunded some people. I will refund some more people in late January 2025.

I also encourage you to report Quality Book Publishers to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to help prevent similar incidents from happening to others.

These students, age 6 -16 and hailing from four towns – Cedartown, Rockmart, Villa Rica, and Rome – are truly special! Committed to learning American Sign Language (ASL), they’re ready to showcase their skills this Saturday, November 9th. While they may not be fluent signers, they understand the value of ASL and Deaf Culture.

I hope you’ll join us and consider learning ASL, too! All public schools should consider offering ASL and Deaf Culture classes from pre-K through high school.

Great news! Last Thursday, the new printing company confirmed that the special edition Deaf Cinderella book is ready to be published, so copies will be on their way to my house soon.
