Join us on August 7:
Sunday Sit in Noble Silence
In accordance with July’s Healthy U newsletter, Sunday Sit will be practicing in Noble Silence.
I just returned from a two week Silent Retreat I am gratefully reminded how vast and what an inherent treasure silence is.
From the poem Sharing Silence by Gunilla Norris, that was posted in the Healthy U July Newsletter,
“In our present culture,
silence is something like an endangered species…
an endangered fundamental.
The experience of silence is now so rare
that we must cultivate it and treasure it.
This is especially true for shared silence.”
Please come and join us for Noble Silence August 7th at 10am at Healthy U.
Give yourself the gift of cultivating your own inherent vastness.
Give yourself the gift of two hours of mostly silent.
Please come and Share in Noble Silence with other like hearted beings.
I encourage you to arrive in silence, stay in silence throughout the 2 hours and especially leave in silence. Then check in with yourself and feel the vastness of space you have created for whatever you would like.
There will be minimal guided meditation on embodiment, silent walking, silent sitting, silent movement, and ending with silent deep relaxation.
“Silence brings us back to basics, to our senses,
to our selves. It locates us. Without that return
we can go so far away from our true natures
that we end up, quite literally, beside ourselves.
We live blindly and act thoughtlessly.
We endanger the delicate balance which sustains
our lives, our communities, and our planet.
Each of us can make a difference.”
Everyone welcome,
Cynthia 💚
