For those who have come to get donuts from us at DB on the first Friday, our board has voted to discontinue selling donuts for many reasons. We appreciate the support the community has shown us over the last several years.

There will be NO SCHOOL at Madrone on Wednesday, January 10 due to our Heat Pump quit working. It is getting repaired in the morning and we should be able to resume school soon. Parents, please be watching for communication from Ms. Chris.

We added a few additions to our playground! BENCHES!! A few for the kids to rest on during a good game of tag under the play system! And a few for the teachers to be able to use during supervision. These have been wanted for many years! Thank you to our volunteers for installing them. 🙏🏻❤️

As we are adding some updates to our school playground (pictures coming soon), we are reminiscing on when we installed the playground back in May, 2010.

That’s a wrap!! We have just finished a LONG, but fun last week of school. It was CraZy Hair Day, Sports Day, Hat Day/End of Year Field Trip around the Illinois Valley which included the Wild Cat Park, Wild River Pizza, taking a walk on the Boardwalk out on $8 Mountain Rd, and finishing at Yeti’s Ice Cream shop, and our final day together was Beach Day as we enjoyed some water, kites and making our own Yearbooks! Now it’s time for a NAP! 😴
