Last Thursday, Dr. Courtney Selby and Dr. Melissa Shipp from Harding Pharmacy University visited with some of our High School students and our Middle School Scrub Club.
Dr. Courtney Selby and Dr. Melissa Shipp spoke to the students about the fundamentals of becoming a pharmacist and the many types of pharmacists that exist. The students had the privilege of doing a compounding pharmacy activity with the two guest speakers. The students made hand soap and were able to individualize theirs with their choice of color and scent.

Dr. Selby and Dr. Melissa Shipp, we appreciate you taking the time to visit with our students and introduce them to the world of Pharmacy! ❤️

On Friday, February 16th the Scrub Club students did their CPR training.😃 These students will receive a certification for their training and be able to use their certification as a High School credit!

Mrs. Bacon wants to give a big "THANK YOU" to Melonie, Tosha, and Lacey who volunteered their time to come work with our Scrub Club students and teach them CPR!

Thank you so much for all you do for our program and these students! ❤️

Shout out to Mrs. Lisa Crumley! Lisa is a Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse who works at White River Health Medical in Orthopedic Services.

She visited with our Scrub Club students today to teach them about " RICE", which stands for rest, ice, compression, and elevate. The students also learned a variety of wrapping techniques for injuries that may occur with the wrist, ankle, and elbow.

These Cave City students had fun learning about what it takes to work in some of the many professions that are offered at White River Health.
