October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month 💜

This month, we’re proud to team up with Connecting Communities in Action to help bring awareness to domestic violence. Throughout October, we’ll be sharing important events, information, and facts to help educate and support our community.

We also need YOUR help! 🫶

For many survivors, leaving an abusive situation is only the beginning. 94–99% of survivors experience some form of financial or other hardship as a result of abuse. That’s why this month, Gypsy Soul Nutrition is helping host a Hygiene Drive to support survivors in our community.

🧴 How you can help:
Bring in a full-size hygiene product from our requested items and place it in our collection tote.

✈️ Travel-size items? We’d still love your help! If you’re donating travel-size products, please bring at least 3 items.

🎟️ Before placing your donation in the tote, check in with us at the counter so we can give you a raffle ticket!

At the end of the month, one lucky donor will win a special basket we put together as a thank-you for helping support this important cause. 💜

Every donation, big or small, can make a difference. Let’s come together as a community and show survivors that they are not alone. 💜

Our Stuffy Supply is running short!
When children visit the STCAC, it's usually an uncertain and stressful time in their lives. Our goal is to help them feel heard, cared for, and confident, in a trauma-informed setting.
Allowing each child to select a small stuffed animal before they leave helps them feel a sense of control, and builds a positive association with the agency and the members of our team.

Take advantage of this free opportunity to properly dispose of your old, unused, or expired medications!
