Let's start off Fall with fun and easy activities, perfect for you and your little reader(s) to do at home! 🍁

Demco provides caregivers with a calendar every month, full of literacy-focused activities for young children, fostering a love of reading and language. These daily activities are simple and fun, while helping to build reading, writing, and cognitive skills.

Print out a copy, by clicking the link below, and put it in a place where you will see it often so you won't forget to spend a little time on literacy each day. You can also view it in our Library Newsletter OR you can grab an already printed out copy here at the Library. 📚

‼️NOTICE - New privacy update for Libby users:
Beginning in October 2026, all patrons signing into Libby will need to provide their PIN with their library card number. This is due to Libby’s new privacy requirements.

For existing Libby users, you may be asked to verify your library card number and provide your PIN.

Your default PIN should be the digits of the phone number attached to your Catoosa Public Library account. If you set a custom PIN, do not know your PIN, or have any other issues regarding logging into Libby, please reach out to the Library.

Once your card number is verified with your PIN, Libby will only request you to verify it occasionally (usually when your account is renewed, which is once every year).

For more info feel free to call us at (918)266-1684, email us at [email protected], or message us here through social media.

🥳 Exciting news! The Catoosa Public Library will be at Rural Oklahoma Birth & Wellness Initiative's "Perinatal Resource Fair & Baby Shower", again this year!

Come visit this FREE resource fair on Saturday, Oct. 10th, from 10am to 2pm! The fair will be in Claremore, at Rogers State University, in the Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center Ballroom. All are welcome!

Stop by and visit our table while your there and grab a free new or gently used children's book to start off your little one's at home library. We'll also have forms to sign up families with kids under 5 for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, where each kiddo can get a free book each month!

We hope to see everyone there, new and current families alike! 🥰

We’re putting together something really special for parents in Rogers County and our surrounding rural communities.

The 2026 Rogers County Perinatal Resource Fair & Community Baby Shower is for people who are pregnant, postpartum, preparing to become parents, or parenting young children, along with the partners, grandparents, caregivers, and support people walking alongside them.

This isn’t your typical resource fair. 💜 Families will be able to learn by doing through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and conversations with people who can help them navigate pregnancy, birth, postpartum, feeding, mental health, and early parenting.

And because every family is different, you get to choose what’s right for your family; picking the resources, information, and items that best fit your needs.

And yes, we’re going to celebrate you, too! 🎉 Expect gifts, free giveaways, tons of raffles, photo opportunities, hands-on activities, and lots of little ways to feel loved and supported.

This day is about more than connecting you to resources. It’s about celebrating you and reminding you that our community is here for you. 💜

There are no ZIP code restrictions. If you live in Rogers County, a surrounding community, or another part of rural Oklahoma and this event would be helpful to you, we want you there.

This is one of the ways we get to say, “We see you. We care about you. You don’t have to do this alone.” 💜
