Mount de Sales Academy

Yesterday, a group of our students volunteered at Little Portion Farm in Ellicott City. Little Portion Farm is a ministry of the Franciscan Friars Conventual dedicated to growing and providing fresh food for those in need throughout our community.
We are grateful to celebrate our fifth year partnering with this incredible program and proud of our students for living out our mission through service, compassion, and hard work.

We are so excited for this weekend in Ocean City, MD!

We cannot wait to come together as a community for 10:00am Mass on Sunday. Join us for Mass and then stay for donuts!🍩

Congratulations to Mike Duffy and Amy Donahue on being named Coach of the Year in their respective sports!
Coach Duffy, who leads our Golf program, and Coach Donahue, who leads our Lacrosse program, were both nominated by their peers for this well-deserved honor. Their dedication to their student-athletes, commitment to excellence, and strong foundation in our school's mission make them outstanding leaders and ambassadors for our community.

Humble MDSA alumnae are sometimes reluctant to recognize and share their accomplishments. Please, help MDSA see the fulfillment of our mission by sharing your successes.

Sometimes it is easier to applaud our Sailor Sisters rather than ourselves. If you are proud of a Sailor, share that information as well. The Sailor you would like to honor and recognize may not receive our communication or, through their humility, may not view their accomplishments as you do.

Remember, you are students for four years but alumnae for life!

This week, Mrs. Newell's Intro to Theatre Arts class worked on costuming concepts using a fairytale as inspiration. They learned to use a sewing machine to sew hair bows related to a character in their respective fairytales!
