NOW HIRING IN OUR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT--FULL TIME POSITION:
Information Technology Specialist must have a high technical aptitude and be able to take ownership of and expedite resolutions. Additionally, the Information Technology Specialist will interface with our users and clinical staff on a daily basis and must be motivated, confident, and be capable of presenting the highest level of communication and professionalism. A lot of the work can be performed remotely, but applicant must be willing/able to travel to different office locations throughout NE and Central KY. (See below for how to apply).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform a variety of technical tasks in the installation, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of computers, network job entry stations and related equipment within the computer network. - Provide information and/or technical assistance to users concerning the development and maintenance of the computer network or for resolution of special problems.
- Respond to service calls; diagnose and correct equipment failure and malfunctions; repair or replace malfunctioning equipment including electronic units and circuit boards.
- Maintain accurate and current records on repair, installation and removal of equipment; provide appropriate logging and tracking of hardware malfunctions.
- Recommend improvements to operating procedures.
- Assist in the development of long planning for new projects and computer hardware needs.
- Provide technical guidance and direction to employees. - Performs other duties as directed by the CIO
- Monitors/maintains cloud instances, network servers, and workstations
- Acts as an escalation point for our support desk
- Commits to continuous learning of products and technologies
- Investigates and follows both industry and internal best practices

JOB KNOWLEDGE
- Desktop/Laptop/AIO troubleshooting and break/fix
- Monitor/troubleshoot network performance
- Network problem resolution
- Server administration
- Monitor and manage back-ups, replication, and disaster recovery systems
TECHNICAL SKILLS (MUST BE CURRENT):
- 2-5 years mid to upper-level desktop/network/server experience desired
- Experience with cloud, virtual server technology, and cyber security a plus
- Intermediate or better skills in Windows Servers/Desktop OS, Active Directory, O365.
