Peyton earned her cosmetology license from Stylemasters College and is about to complete her instructor training.
Her inspiration for joining the beauty industry came at a young age when she provided home hair services for her beloved mom.
Peyton loves everything this industry has to offer — from meeting new people and building lasting friendships to mastering techniques behind the chair. What she enjoys most, though, is witnessing the “light bulb” moment when a student finally understands something they’ve been working hard to learn.

✨Meet Brittany✨
Brittany is one of our other student instructors, having earned her cosmetology license this January.
Her greatest inspiration in the beauty industry is her mom, who has been in the industry for over 40 years. Growing up watching her mom’s passion and commitment is what made Brittany fall in love with cosmetology.
She especially enjoys exploring creative coloring techniques and experimenting with fun, vibrant shades. Brittany loves bringing personality and confidence to life through hair color.
Her advice to future students: show up consistently and stay on top of your work. Doing so will help you avoid feeling rushed or stressed as you approach graduation.
Fun fact: Brittany has pet ducks — and she is completely obsessed with them! 🦆

✨Meet Lizzy✨
Lizzy is a Student Instructor who earned her cosmetology license in December. She has quickly grown into a strong leader and role model within the program.
Lizzy’s greatest inspiration in the beauty industry is women. She loves watching women feel empowered and free to express themselves—whether through hair, makeup, or nails.
Her heart truly lies in teaching. Lizzy finds so much joy in guiding students, helping them build their skills, and watching them succeed in what they love to do.
Her advice to future students: Stay on top of your work and don’t let yourself fall behind. Take your education seriously—but also remember to have fun. Make friends, create lasting memories, and fully embrace the experience.
A fun fact about Lizzy is that she’s the oldest of six kids! She believes growing up in that role helped shape her natural leadership abilities and is a big reason she thrives in leadership positions today.

✨Meet Brandi✨
Brandi oversees our junior and senior cosmetology programs, as well as our nail technology program. She plays an essential role in keeping our programs running smoothly and is a driving force behind our student’s success.
Brandi’s passion for the beauty industry started early, doing hair for friends and family even before earning her cosmetology license in 2014.
Brandi’s favorite part of being an instructor is witnessing the “lightbulb moment” — when something a student has been working hard on finally clicks. Seeing that growth and confidence build is what makes her role so rewarding.
Her advice to future students: Never stop learning. The beauty industry is constantly evolving, and continuing your education is key to staying inspired and successful.
Fun fact: Brandi is a big fan of Marvel Comics movies! 🎬

✨Meet Mindie✨
Mindie wears several hats at the college by teaching both the Cosmetology and Esthetician programs, keeping both running very smoothly.
Mindie has been in the Industry for 27 years, doing everything from working in a salon, booth rental, and has even owned her own shop.
Her favorite part of teaching is providing ‘demonstrations’ and working with first time students.
Mindie’s biggest reward from teaching is to see her students come full circle when they come back to visit as licensed professionals, excited to share their experience. Mindie’s advice for future students is to “trust the process and to enjoy the ride.” She also encourages students to be patient with themselves while they are learning.
Fun factoid about Mindie: she raises bees 🐝 and puts out a mean jar of honey.

✨Meet Jeanne✨
Jeanne is our “super star” receptionist yet she does so much more! She helps keep everything running smoothly while welcoming students, guests, and clients each day.
Jeanne loves getting to see first hand, the student’s growth during their educational journey and loves watching the student’s confidence grow as they come into their own within their program. Jeanne describes herself as a big people person, and enjoys getting to meet so many new people and forming relationships with our beloved clientele.
She advises all students to focus on staying caught up with school work, keep an open mind for trying new things, and get to school on time, if you aren’t 10 minutes early you’re late.
Fun factoid: Jeanne can touch her tounge to the tip of her nose.
