Congratulations to MVHS three Business Professionals of America members who competed at the National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.
Sophomore Abhinav Muthukrishnan competed in Advanced Desktop Publishing as a first year BPA member. He placed 2nd at the Regional Leadership Conference in Pleasanton, 5th at the State Leadership Conference in Dallas, and placed in the top 50% at the National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to Abhinav's success in his competitive event, he challenged his skills even further by competing in three open events scoring an average in the top 20% of over 500 students.
Junior Izabella Escobar competed in Network Administration using CISCO as a 3rd year BPA member. She ranked 4th at RLC qualifying her for state, and ranked 3rd at state qualifying her for Nationals for the 2nd time. In Nashville, she ranked 18th out of 51 competitors.
Senior Alexander Adams competed in SQL Database Fundamentals in his 3rd year as a BPA member. Alex placed 1st at the Regional Leadership Conference and 2nd at the State Leadership Conference in Dallas qualifying him for the 3rd year in a row for the National Leadership Conference. In Tennessee, Alex ranked 10th placing him on stage with the top 10 competitors.
