It’s a wrap: kindergartners and fifth graders have been promoted and the school building is completely empty in anticipation of the remodel that begins tomorrow! Stay tuned for “after” photos.

It’s official: the “OLG Dad’s Cub” has been revived! Today was its first event: a Saturday work party clearing out the school in preparation for the comprehensive remodel made possible by the generous grant from the Shea Family Charities Foundation. Way to go, dads!!!

It has been a very successful season for our Chess champs thanks to Mr. Noizumi. This week, the first rounds of the final tournament were underway. May the best player succeed and may all have fun!

OLG School kicks off our 8th grade graduation season with our annual overnight at the USS Hornet. The 8th graders always have a fantastic time on this one-of-a-kind experience!

Today we wrapped up Teacher Appreciation Week at OLG with an amazing lunch of spring rolls, fried rice, garlic noodles, and chicken — generously sponsored and catered by Mom’s Pho & Banh Mi (with locations in Dublin & Oakland)!

We cannot thank our teachers and staff enough for all that they do each and every day. Your dedication, care, and hard work make such a difference, and we are so grateful for everything you do for our students and school community! ❤️
