Early Childhood Educator

Position Overview
Bright Beginnings Day Care, Inc. is seeking a caring, dependable, and professional Early Childhood Educator who is passionate about working with young children. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, explore, and build confidence through age-appropriate activities and positive daily interactions.
Schedule Requirements
Candidates must be available to work 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide attentive supervision and compassionate care for young children throughout the day.
• Plan and support age-appropriate activities that encourage social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with children, families, and coworkers.
• Protect the confidentiality of children, families, staff, and program information at all times.
• Follow all center policies, health and safety procedures, and licensing requirements.
• Work cooperatively as part of a team to support consistent routines and high-quality care.
Qualifications and Desired Qualities
• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining consistent attendance.
• Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Patient, nurturing, flexible, and positive in daily interactions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with families and coworkers.
• Previous experience in early childhood education or childcare is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification is required.
