2024 Educational Trip to Washington, D.C.
We're incredibly proud of our outstanding students who recently traveled to Washington, D.C. for a three-day educational trip. During their visit, they had the unique opportunity to meet with congressional members, explore cultural landmarks, and gain firsthand knowledge of how our government functions. This experience was truly enriching and inspiring for our future leaders!

A huge shoutout to everyone who attended our Saturday workshops at the 34th Angelo Del Toro Puerto Rican/Hispanic Youth Leadership Institute in March 2024 in Albany, NY! 🎉 Your enthusiasm and participation made it an unforgettable experience. Hispanic and Latin youth hone leadership skills in Albany Nearly 300 students held a mock legislative session.

2023 Educational Field Trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico:
In November, seven Outstanding Student Delegates from New York State were invited to attend an Educational Field Trip with The Angelo Del Toro Puerto Rican/Hispanic Youth Leadership Institute to take part in the annual SOMOS, Inc. Conference. This amazing opportunity allowed them to hear from elected officials, learn more about how the Puerto Rican Government works, visit schools, and connect with the history of San Juan.
