Wish Week is finally here! Student Council will be selling merchandise on February 3-February 7. Spirit Week is also next week. Monday is PJ Masks PJ Day. Tuesday is Yellow Duck Day. Wednesday is Meme Day. Thursday Peppa Pink Out. Friday is Wish Week Shirt Day. Can’t wait to see which pod will win!!

The 8th Grade Dance is coming up on May 10th! This event is for 8th Grade Mesa Students ONLY. Admission and concessions are free! It is from 6-8 PM in the commons. The last dance of the year is coming up on Friday, April 26 from 3-4:30. It is our annual Sock Dance! Student Council will be selling socks for $6 during lunch starting the week of 4/22. Wear your new crazy socks to the dance and you will receive a free ticket. All profits from sock sales will be given to limbs international. If you do not want a pair of socks, tickets will be sold for $3. Concessions will be sold. Hope to see you there! Are you interesting in joining student council next year (Current 7)or in high school (Current 8th)? A Student Council Interest Booth is up on the stage at lunch (the week of 3/11-3/15) for any current 7th graders interested in Student Council next year. Applications for Mesa Student Council will be at the end of March for Seventh Graders going into Eighth Grade. The high school will be visiting as well for applications and interviews (Date & Time TBD).

Interested in playing or watching the last dodgeball game of the year?! Forms will be outside Mrs. Sebastian Johnson’s art room M204 on February 28. Forms must be turned in by March 6 to Mrs. Sebastian. The dodgeball game is on March 8 after school. It is $5 to play in the game and free to come and watch. Student Council will be selling concessions! Hope to see you there!
