Grandparents have a special way of making little moments feel important, ordinary days feel special, and children feel deeply loved.

On September 9, we want to celebrate that special kind of love. 💕

We’re inviting our MSCR grandparents to step into their grandchild’s little world—visit their classroom, see where they spend their days, and make a special craft together.

August was all about building strong roots in our Primary classrooms at Montessori School of Castle Rock. 💚

Our students learned classroom routines, built new friendships, and discovered what makes each of them special during our All About Me unit.

They explored their five senses with Montessori smelling bottles, tasting bottles, and sound cylinders, and began learning how to recognize and name their emotions—including strategies for handling those big feelings.

And that was just the beginning!

Next up: September Wings—community helpers, transportation, families, cultural celebrations, dramatic play, and plenty of hands-on discovery.

Two friends + one work = a whole lot of math happening. ❤️💛💙

Counting, sorting, matching, recognizing patterns, comparing quantities, and problem-solving—all through hands-on exploration.

At Montessori School of Castle Rock, math isn't just something children are told or shown. They get to touch it, move it, see it, and figure it out for themselves.

And while they're learning math, they're also learning to take turns, communicate, collaborate, and help one another.

In our Castle Rock Montessori preschool, hands-on materials give children the chance to slow down, concentrate, problem-solve, and figure things out for themselves.

Our littlest learners have been busy. 💚

In August, our infants and toddlers focused on feeling safe, connected, confident, and ready to learn.

🌱 Our infants explored new faces, gentle routines, early communication, and their first classroom discoveries.

🌼 Our toddlers practiced independence, language, movement, problem-solving, friendships, and plenty of those proud “I did it!” moments.

Our Seed & Bloom Process Art Curriculum adds another layer of discovery—giving little hands the freedom to explore colors, textures, materials, and their own creativity without worrying about what the finished product is supposed to look like.

We love seeing the seed of imagination beginning to bloom. 🌱🌼
