World Compass Academy

The Castle Rock Police Department is hosting an exciting skateboard design contest for their Skate-and-Deploy program!

Skate-and-Deploy is powered by a team of CRPD officers, primarily our School Resource Officers (SROs) who host great community events throughout the year. At these events, officers hit the pavement to skate right alongside local youth and even teach beginners how to ride!

Participants must be a Castle Rock resident or attend school in Castle Rock
Free to participate
One submission per person
Submission deadline: Friday, July 17
Finalists chosen and notified by: Wednesday, July 29
Public voting will occur at CRPD's National Night Out event Tuesday, Aug. 4
Winner will be announced at the summer Skate & Deploy event Saturday, Sept. 12

Celebrating Student Resilience & Dedication
To wrap up the school year, Ms. Powell, presented a deserving student with a very unique honor, a Castle Rock Police Department Challenge Coin. Originally awarded to the teacher for community service, it was passed forward to recognize Lauren's incredible resilience, curiosity, and refusal to give up when the work got tough. In tradition, a challenge coin is only gifted to recognize outstanding character, and we are so proud of Lauren's dedication and achievements this year!

Our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders took the field and the gym, and they brought serious energy! From epic Tug of War battles to cooling off with water balloons and popsicles, these students are giving it their all.

A Special Thank You to Our WCA Alumni
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful WCA alumni who participated in our honored tradition of escorting our kindergarteners to their graduation. Seeing our oldest and youngest students together is always a beautiful reminder of the tight-knit community we share.

To our graduating alumni: we wish you the absolute best of luck as you take your next steps into college, trade school, gap year, or headed to the work force. Never forget the foundation you built here, and always remember you can GO ANYWHERE! DO ANYTHING!

We are celebrating the end of an era as Mrs. Donna Estrada has officially retired from World Compass Academy. Donna has been a cherished part of our kindergarten team and school community for several years. Her dedication, creativity, and love for her students have touched countless lives, and we will deeply miss her presence and her commitment to our mission.

Congratulations to our wonderful WCA Kindergarten Class on their graduation! We have loved watching you grow, learn your first words in new languages, and explore the world with so much curiosity this year. You are officially ready for the big world of first grade!
