Mesa Middle School

8th-graders took the lead supporting our local unhoused population. This crew generated the idea of creating hygiene kits. Their work culminated in a donation to SECOR, ensuring that these resources get directly into the hands of those who need them most. SECOR

Out of over 1,000 students district-wide, only 3 in each category are invited—and Mesa had FOUR creators honored for their incredible work!

Our amazing students teamed up to make handmade blankets for the animals at Humane Colorado! These cozy creations will go straight to shelter dogs and cats to bring them comfort, security, and a little extra love while they wait for their forever homes.

6th and 7th grade students culminated their Advanced Learning Plans with an opportunity to share how they reached their goals. Students share dynamic learning goals including original music, in depth history inquiries and model skis!

Mesa students recently attended GESTEM! They spent the day diving into hands-on workshops with engineering pros and exploring awesome careers in science, tech, engineering, and math.

Student created, student led community service - that's what we do at Mesa! From seed bombs to hygiene kits to blankets for shelter animals, Mesa students are supporting their community through service.

Future bears visited the halls of Mesa, guided by our awesome Student Ambassadors! Thank you to Mesa's Counseling department for planning this event!
