Our faculty represents more than 120 collective years of teaching experience. Their focus is on the academic, spiritual, and physical growth of each student. Our low teacher-student ratio allows each teacher to evaluate the student’s needs, facilitate in one-on-one or small-group settings, and encourage each child to grow to their full potential. We educate preschool through 7th grade for the 2017-18 school year. 2018-19 school year we will complete our middle school program by adding 8th grade!

Some people make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. 💛Our administrative assistant is one of those people. She has served our CRCA community so faithfully, bringing kindness, warmth, and a friendly face to our school every day.

But here’s a fun little surprise: she’s also an artist! ✍️✨
For our interactive prayer board, she hand-drew this beautiful reminder for our students and staff:
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer.” — Romans 12:12

It’s the perfect verse for the first part of this year’s Equipped journey: Equipped to Stand. As spiritual warriors, we’re learning what it looks like to stand firm—not just in what we believe, but in hope, patience, and prayer.

We’re so grateful for the many ways she uses her gifts to serve our school. And we are excited to see how our warriors fill the board this month. 💛

One of the things we love most about our school community is getting to grow together. 🤍

In the classroom, on the playground, and in chapel—we’re building relationships, making memories, and most importantly, pointing one another toward Jesus.

And sometimes, we get to witness sweet moments like two brothers worshipping side by side. 🤍

FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL: COMPLETE. 🎉

This week included:
✏️ approximately 1,000 pencils sharpened
🩹 100 bandaids distributed
📚 countless books opened
😂 lots of laughter
🙏 prayers prayed
☕️ ...and, for the adults, a concerning amount of coffee.

But in all seriousness...
Somewhere between the first-day nerves, new backpacks, chapel, recess, learning names, and figuring out new routines, something really sweet happened.

Our hallways filled up again. ❤️

Students made new friends. Teachers got to know new students. Old friends picked right back up where they left off. We worshiped together, learned together, laughed together—and started another year of growing together.

And we're pretty grateful we get to do it all over again next week. 😉

Some of the best school memories aren't made during class—they happen around shared interests, good conversations, and a little creativity. 💙📚

Last year, our pilot book club brought students together to read, craft, laugh, and build friendships over some great stories. We loved every minute of it!

One of our favorite things about CRCA is the way our oldest students care for our youngest. 💙

We're looking back on one of our favorite moments from last school year—our middle school students surprising a kindergartner by singing Happy Birthday.

It may seem like a small moment, but it's exactly the kind of culture we hope to cultivate: students who notice one another, celebrate each other, and choose kindness.
