National College Colors Day is an annual celebration held on the Friday before Labor Day where people across the United States wear apparel and gear representing their favorite college or university

💜 During our SEL morning block, all staff joined students in learning about feelings and teamwork!

Through engaging games and activities, students practiced recognizing and naming emotions in themselves and others. They also learned that feelings are important and useful when we understand them.

Together, we are building caring, supportive classrooms where students can express their emotions, work as a team, and help one another succeed! 🦅💜

What an amazing night at the RRE Back-to-School BBQ! 💜🦅

A huge thank-you to our incredible Rock Ridge PTO for sponsoring this special evening for our students, staff, and families. Everyone enjoyed a hot dog dinner, temporary tattoos, bounce houses, live music, and plenty of fun together!

Our live band featured some familiar RRE faces: Mr. Rick, our campus security specialist; Mr. Richard, our building engineer; and Mr. Goldman, our music teacher. They rocked the night! 🎶🎸

We also want to thank the Douglas County High School Student Council volunteers. We truly appreciate your support!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so memorable. RRE truly is a special place!💜💜

🎺🎻🥁A huge THANK YOU to the Douglas County High School Marching Band and Douglas County High School Orchestra for coming to Rock Ridge and sharing the joy of music with our students!

4th, 5th and 6th grades loved learning about the different instruments, hearing them in action, and seeing the incredible talent of these musicians.

Our students are already excited for what’s ahead—we can’t wait to be part of the DC Downbeats! 🎵💜
