Field Day has been amazing! βοΈπ
Our 3rdβ5th graders enjoyed a fun-filled morning, and now our Kindergartenβ2nd grade students are having a blast this afternoon! From races and tug-of-war to water games, smiles and laughter have been everywhere. π¦πββοΈπ
A huge shoutout to our 6th graders for doing an outstanding job running the stations and helping make the day so special for everyone.
Thank you to Coach for all the hard work and planning that went into this incredible event, and thank you to all the staff members who jumped in to help throughout the day. We appreciate you all! ππ

Full circle moment ππ
Today, our @ Douglas County High School Class of 2026 seniors walked the halls of their elementary school one more time β the same halls they left as 6th grade graduates in 2020. From little learners to future leaders, it was a special reminder of how far theyβve come and all that lies ahead.
We are so proud of the memories theyβve made, the challenges theyβve overcome, and the bright futures waiting for them. Once a part of our school family, always a part of our school family. π
Congratulations, Class of 2026!

π Survivor Council Meetings ended today for our 6th graders!
Students gathered in the gym to celebrate successes from the previous week and reflect on goals for the week ahead. πͺ
One of the highlights of the meetings was recognizing our weekly MVPs! π
Students earned special beads for their necklaces as a symbol of the leadership, positivity, and hard work they bring to our school each day.
This fun tradition keeps students motivated during the final weeks of school while celebrating the incredible leadership shown by our 6th graders! π

π Another amazing *Principal for the Morning* at Rock Ridge this week!
Congratulations to Principal Johnson! π Tatum started his day with morning announcements, then helped lead the 6th Grade Survivor meeting., and then helped keep our school safe by riding along on the morning security check with Mr. Gabe. From there, he jumped right into the exciting work - lunch duty, full-school classroom observations in every classroom, connecting with students, and seeing all the wonderful things happening throughout the building (check out his bulletin board π). He even took time to play piano for our 5th grade music students! πΉπΆ
He ended the day with car duty, truly working hard and being an amazing leader! ππ
We are so proud of Principal Johnson and grateful for his leadership, positivity, and commitment to our students and staff.

Principal for the Morning, Abbey Harris, did an outstanding job supporting RRE last Friday! π
Her busy day included helping with morning arrival, making announcements, writing positive notes to teachers, checking in with classrooms, leading a meeting, participating in an adult Rock-Paper-Scissors game, reading to first graders in the library, and even handling lunch duty!
Thank you,Principal Harris, for your leadership, positivity, and enthusiasm throughout the day. RRE loved having you serve as Principal for the Morning! π
