Dear Summit Christian Academy Families,
We are grateful for the Lord’s faithfulness and for each of you who has walked alongside us through this season.
After much prayer and careful consideration, we have made the decision that Summit Christian Academy will no longer partner with publicly funded programs to provide our half-day programming. While this has not been an easy decision, we believe it is important for us to remain faithful to the mission and convictions God has entrusted to us.
Our desire has always been to provide an environment where children can be educated in truth, wisdom, and the love of Christ, and where our teachers can faithfully live out their Christian calling. We believe the Lord is leading us back to the full homeschool enrichment model we began in 2022.
This means the program will be tuition-based rather than publicly funded. However, we are pursuing future partnerships that will make this opportunity accessible to more families.
We are choosing to move forward with gratitude rather than discouragement, trusting that God is continuing to guide Summit Christian Academy exactly where He wants us to be.
Please join us on Monday, August 17th at 2:30 at New Hope Church to decide together how to proceed this year. We can continue as a 1-day program for $2,100/year, a 2-day program for $4,200/year or a parent volunteer co-op that costs very little.
