📢 LOST & FOUND OVERFLOW! 👕🧤🧢🥤

Families, our Elementary School Lost & Found is FULL!!! 😳

In order to keep things manageable, we will need to bag up and donate all remaining items at the end of this week.

👉 Please have your student stop by the Lost & Found and take a look for anything they may be missing!

Parents/guardians are also welcome to come by during school hours. Just check in with the office when you arrive.

This is your last call before the Lost & Found gets a fresh start!

If your child has been missing it, there’s a pretty good chance it’s currently hanging out in Lost & Found.

🍂🎃 Castle Rock PTO is headed to the Harvest Festival! 🎃🍂

We’ll be at the CRFFA Harvest Festival tomorrow, October 3rd, from 10AM–1PM, and as always, we’ll have FREE hot chocolate and apple c***r to help keep everyone warm and happy! ☕️🍎

🍩 There will be NO mini donuts. 😭

Our donut shipment is apparently taking the scenic route and is currently somewhere in Nowhere, Colorado. We have officially lost custody of the donuts. 😂

We’re pretty sure they’ll eventually find their way here, but unfortunately, it won’t be in time for the festival.

BUT the drinks are here and they’re FREE! 🙌

So come enjoy some pumpkins, games, local vendors, autumn fun, and stop by to see your Castle Rock PTO crew. We’ll happily pour you a cup of hot chocolate or apple c***r and pretend we aren’t still thinking about those missing donuts. 😂🍁

This week's bookfair really snuck up on us and we are behind in getting volunteers signed up to help this week. If you can sign up for a shift or 2, we would greatly appreciate your help! No experience is needed, but you do need to have a background check on file with the District office.

Apologies we are so behind in advertising, but Book Fair is HERE!! 📖 📕

Join us Monday, September 28 through Friday, October 2nd for a fun week of reading, shopping, and supporting our school!

📍 NEW LOCATION THIS YEAR!
The Book Fair will NOT be in the Library this year. We’ll be located behind the Elementary Gym in the spare portable, Classroom #507.

Please use the steps whenever possible instead of the ramp when coming to the Book Fair to help avoid disrupting the class next door. Thank you for helping us keep things running smoothly! 💛

📅 Shopping Hours:
Students can shop:

*Before school – 30 minutes before the bell (with an adult)
*After school – 1 hour after the bell (with an adult)
*During their designated class visit (we will post in the comments).
Please note: We are not open during recess.

💛 Support Other Students:

We gladly accept donations to help all students enjoy the fair—every dollar makes a difference. You can:

* Donate a dollar amount to help kids shop
* Choose books from the “Classroom Wish List” stand to donate to your child’s teacher
* Donate a favorite book you’d love to see in classrooms

We’ll even do the shopping for you if you’d prefer to donate and let us handle the rest!

We want to give a HUGE thank you to Red Canoe Credit Union and to every single person in our community who donated to this year’s Fill the Canoe school supply drive!

Every year, Red Canoe challenges our community to help fill the canoe with school supplies, and this year… you all absolutely knocked it out of the park! 🎉

Red Canoe matches donations pound for pound and dollar for dollar, which means the generosity of our community goes twice as far. Because of this incredible partnership, we have been able to provide school supplies to every grade in our district, from Preschool all the way through 12th grade! ❤️

The monetary donations have also allowed us to purchase additional supplies, and we’ll continue using those funds throughout the school year to restock and resupply our schools as needs come up. So the impact of this drive doesn’t end when the school year starts. It keeps going!

To everyone who dropped off a box of crayons, a package of notebooks, a backpack, a few dollars, or whatever you were able to give: THANK YOU. It all adds up, and this year, it added up to something pretty amazing.

And to Red Canoe Credit Union, thank you for continuing to support our schools and our community year after year. Your generosity, your matching program, and your commitment to our students makes such a huge difference.

📣 Our First PTO Meeting of the Year! 📣

It’s time to kick off another school year! Our first PTO meeting is tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16th at 3:30 PM in the Elementary School Library.

And yes, we’ll have the important things covered: snacks AND a babysitter! 😉 We’d love to have you join us!

A few things you should know:

✨ You don’t have to be a PTO member to attend our meetings.
✨ Coming to a meeting does NOT mean you’re signing up to volunteer.
✨ It’s a great way to learn more about what’s happening in our schools, what the PTO is working on, and what opportunities are available to help make things even better for our students and teachers.

We’re a tiny bit behind on getting our membership forms ready for this year (because apparently the school year started whether we were ready or not 😂), but we’ll be sending more information about membership soon!

Whether you’re ready to jump in, just curious about what we do, or simply want to come hang out with other parents while eating PTO-provided snacks, we’d love to see you tomorrow! ❤️

Free School Supplies for Castle Rock Families!

Castle Rock PTO is excited to help our students head into the new school year prepared and ready to learn!
Thanks to the generosity of Red Canoe Credit Union and their annual Fill the Canoe event, we will have FREE school supplies available for Castle Rock students and families at several upcoming back-to-school events:

• Middle School Back-to-School Event – TONIGHT
Free school supplies will be available for families at the Middle School starting at 5pm.

• Elementary School – During Conferences Next Week
Stop by the cafeteria during conference times to grab a backpack & supplies!

• High School Back-to-School Event – Next Week
We’ll also have free supplies available at the High School back-to-school event on Monday, August 31st at 5pm.

A huge thank-you to Red Canoe Credit Union! Their Fill the Canoe program matches donations, allowing our community to make an even bigger impact. Castle Rock PTO is proud to partner with Red Canoe to help get those supplies into the hands of our students and families.

While you’re at the back-to-school events, be sure to stop by the Castle Rock PTO table! We’ll have some Game Day shirts available for purchase, along with information about the PTO for anyone interested in getting involved or learning more about what we do.

Whether you need a few pencils, a whole handful of supplies, a Game Day shirt, or just want to say hello, we’ll see you there!
