🚨Important information this morning if you’re trying to get a hold of the school!

Dear DCSD Families,
Many Douglas County School District buildings are without phones and internet today due to a large service outage in the area. Our provider is currently working to troubleshoot the cause of the outage, however we do not currently have an estimated time for repairs.
This outage is impacting phone and internet service at many of our schools and support sites. During the outage, you may have difficulty reaching your child's school via phone or email. Please know that should an emergency arise at a school, every building has the capability to contact law enforcement, medical personnel, etc.
The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. School staff members are monitoring the situation to ensure that our students are safe and cared for. Learning continues and we are following our regular schedule at our schools today.

We couldn’t agree more! 💙 At Timber Trail, we’re incredibly proud of the leaders we’re growing every day. Moments like these reflect the kindness, character, and sense of community that make our Timber Wolves so special. Thank you, BASE, for creating opportunities where our students can learn, lead, and make a difference, both in and out of the classroom!

😄 Countless laughs and unforgettable memories

The Colorado Rockies may have lost 8-0, but our campers showed everyone what a real victory looks like.

One of our middle schoolers caught a baseball during the game and, without a second thought, turned around and handed it to one of our kindergarten campers. That simple act of kindness meant more than the final score ever could.

At Timber Trail BASE, we don’t just create fun summer memories, we build friendships, leadership, and compassion. Today was a reminder that while games are won and lost, kindness is always a champion.

We’re incredibly proud of our amazing kiddos. 💙🐺

What an amazing Field Day at Timber Trail with Dr. B! This year’s theme, “Together We Rise,” truly came to life as students, staff, and families came together for a day filled with fun, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.

A huge thank you to all of the incredible volunteers who spent the day with us. Your time, energy, and enthusiasm helped make this event such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Here’s to celebrating community, supporting one another, and proving that when we work together, we all rise. 💙💛

We are so excited to see the next phase of our Peace Garden come to life with the installation of the new Peace Pole, generously donated by the Castle Pines Rotary Club.

There is still a lot of work ahead, but this series of pictures shows just how far we have already come — from where we started, to where we are now, and the vision for what we hope the finished Peace Garden will become.

Our hope is that this project will grow into a space that reflects kindness, community, and education, with our students playing a huge role in growing and caring for the garden along the way. We cannot wait to continue building something meaningful for everyone to enjoy.

This past week has been filled with some truly special milestones at Timber Trail Elementary.

We had the joy of welcoming our newest Timber Pups at Kindergarten Signing Day as our incoming students took their first official steps toward becoming part of the Timber Trail family. The excitement, smiles, and anticipation for the journey ahead were absolutely contagious.

At the same time, we had the honor of celebrating our graduating seniors during the Senior Clap Out. Watching former Timber Trail students walk our halls one final time reminded us just how quickly these years go and the incredible impact our school community has on students long after they leave our classrooms.

The best part? Our seniors could not help but relive some of their favorite childhood memories while they were back at Timber Trail — spending time playing with the parachute in the gym and jumping into a game of kickball outside. For a few moments, they were Timber Trail students all over again.

One chapter begins while another comes to a close.

From future Timber Pups proudly celebrating the start of their educational journey to seniors preparing to take on the world, this week was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. We are so proud to be part of each student’s story.
