Hello everyone! It's been a wild and strange two years in public education, but we are now working on our "new normal". We aren't sure what that looks like yet, but we are now at a point where we are doing things in the classroom that we would like to share. Keep your eyes peeled for some new posts and videos of our students as we approach Winter Break. Stay tuned!

Getting ready for a new school year! So excited to be starting the year in person in the Musicbox! The stage is currently empty, waiting to be filled with all of the talent at Castle Hayne Elementary. We have already received some wonderful back-to-school gifts- a biography of Aretha Franklin and a set of movement scarves from some very generous supporters of music! Please stop by at Thursday's open house and see some of the things that your students will be doing this year.

Many thanks to the Balls GeorgeJoy Ball for our wonderful gifts. We can't wait to use them!

The Musicbox is going online! Students in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th should have received an invitation to join their grade level Google Classroom. Kindergarten will go up after Spring Break.

I've already posted some things on the sites, so if you have accepted the invite which automatically enrolls you, then feel free to go on and take a look around.

Hello everyone! I just wanted everyone to know that I have added a link on my county web page for you to access some at-home music lessons while we are out of school. I will continue to add lessons as we are out so that you will be able to enjoy learning and reviewing about different things. I have added a description for each lesson so that you can pick the lesson that you would like to work on for that particular day.
