Happy National Farmers Day! 🚜🌾🦙

Some days farming looks like this picture… everyone lounging around without a care in the world. 😂 Meanwhile, the farmers are working!

Farm life isn’t always easy. There are early mornings, late nights, unexpected challenges, plenty of dirty clothes, and never-ending chores. But there are also new babies, unforgettable memories, and a whole lot of love.

We’re so thankful for this little farm we’ve built together and the opportunity to share our passion with others. ❤️

Happy National Farmers Day to all the hardworking farmers out there!

🌪️ WE’VE OFFICIALLY PICKED A NAME! 🌪️

We’ve officially decided on a name for the newest member of Hardly Farm Alpacas…

🏒 Rod’s Storm Surge 🏒
AKA: Stormy

Stormy is named in honor of beloved Rod Brind’Amour, head coach of the Carolina Hurricanes, following our 2026 Stanley Cup Championship! 🏆🏒🌪️

But there’s a little more to the story…

Stormy’s dad, Spartan’s Avalanche, was born in Colorado and was named after the Colorado Avalanche, following their 2022 Stanley Cup Championship. 🏆🏔️

So when it came time to name his son, we thought it was only fitting to carry on the tradition—keeping the hockey connection alive while bringing it home to Carolina! ❤️🖤

Welcome to Hardly Farm, Rod’s Storm Surge! 🌪️🏒

We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this young guy!

After all that waiting… HE’S FINALLY HERE! 🥹🦙💙

Electra welcomed a sweet baby boy yesterday at 349 days!

She hasn’t quite figured out this whole “momma” thing yet, so for now, we’re stepping in and bottle feeding this little guy. 🍼💙 We’re giving Electra some time, patience, and lots of encouragement while she figures things out.

Baby boy is here, he’s loved, and we’re so excited to watch his story unfold. 🤍

Now for the important question… what should we name him?! 👀

Sunday question! 🦙😂

If our alpacas/llama could talk, which one do you think would have the MOST attitude?

We already have a pretty good idea who would win this contest. 👀

Hint: Her name starts with W. 🫣

Hey October, we’ve had enough heat for the year already.

🤣🦙 Things you can say as an alpaca farmer… but probably SHOULDN’T say on a first date! 😂
Let’s just say alpaca farmers have a VERY different idea of what’s considered normal conversation! 🤣 Between breeding, p**p, spitting, and checking teeth… we might need to work on our conversation starters! 🤦‍♀️
Which one made you laugh the hardest?! Drop your favorite in the comments! 👇😂
