We had 8 wrestlers compete yesterday at Adidas Nationals and at the end of the day we had 4 All-Americans!

2nd place- Boni Lopez
2nd place- Braydyn Sizemore
5th place- Rylen Holman
5th place- Zachary Myers

And the other 4 wrestled hard and gained a lot of mat experience at an amazing tournament.

Cassville has 8 wrestlers representing Barry County against a field of 38 states and over 2000 wrestlers!

What a weekend! Congrats to our team on a 2nd place finish at Districts!

Boni Lopez, Rylen Holman, Kole Fry, Tyler Hodge, Tristan Thompson, Colton Roark, Zachary Myers, and Ethan Sizemore qualified for the state tournament next week. We’re not done yet!

I want to give a shoutout to Kellen Weldy, Logan Parsons, Braydyn Sizemore, and Riley James the other 4 wrestlers on our team that were so close to securing their state spot. Kellen, Logan, and Braydyn all made it to the final match of the tournament. I’m proud of you. You’ve had an incredible season, and I can’t wait to help you reach your goals next season.

Riley James had to injury default out of the tournament in the semifinals.

I know life doesn’t seem fair sometimes but I am proud of all of you. Your effort, love, and commitment in the sport shows, and it matters.
