Weather Update!

Good afternoon parents, hope everything is going well for all of you. After checking Magnolia Kids Academy and surroundings, we found everything in perfect shape. In case you need it, Magnolia Kids Academy will be open for tomorrow Friday November 11th, 2022 at regular hours. From 6:30am to 6:30pm. Continue to be a having a safe day. See you tomorrow morning!

We are looking to employ a vpk classroom teacher that is nurturing, energetic, fun-loving, dependable and truthful !

Applicants must have good communication skills, work well as part of a team and must love working with children. We seek for teachers that are committed and reliable to work with us year around.

Hours: 9:00am - 6:00pm
Monday through Friday.

Teacher Responsibilities:

- Meeting the individual needs of the children, interact with our students to support play, exploration, and learning.
- Uphold expectations and program requirements for a high quality early childhood classroom
- Utilize best practices when teaching with and working with the students
- Lead Teachers will create and deliver lesson plans, implement school curriculum, and assess developmental needs of students. .
- Communicate professionally with parents and fellow staff.
- Build teamwork.
- Use assessment tools.
- Provide the highest quality child care and early education.

Classroom:

- Keep the classroom neat, clean and organized.
- Sanitize Toys and chairs daily.
- Vacuum carpets daily, clean when soiled.
- Tables cleaned when visibly soiled and sanitized before and after food is served.
- Empty garbage daily and clean cans when visibly soiled and put liners in cans.
- Floors swept and mopped daily and when soiled.

Requirements:

- 40-clock-hour Introductory Child Care Training (Part I and Part II courses);

- 5-clock-hour (or .5 Continue Education Units) Early Literacy and Language Development;

- Previous Experience with children.

- Be able to manage classroom with 11 students.

Hours: AM shift - 7:00am - 11:00am
PM shift - 12:00pm - 6:30pm

Teacher Responsibilities:

- Supervise, and implement the program for children in care by following the policies and philosophy of the school and DCF.
- Help to maintain a positive relationship between parents of the students and the school.
- Supervise bathroom use and appropriate handwashing, especially before and after meals and after outdoor play.
- Assist student with their homework's.

Classroom:

- Keep the classroom neat, clean and organized.
- Vacuum carpets daily, clean when soiled.
- Tables cleaned when visibly soiled and sanitized before and after food is served.
- Toilet seat handles and bathroom sinks cleaned and sanitized daily.
- Empty garbage daily and clean cans when visibly soiled and put liners in cans.
- Floors swept and mopped daily and when soiled.

Preffered but not required:
