Are you getting power efficiently in your golf swing. Sure, it’s possible to get power from overturning, swaying, etc. But, how will your consistency be? Wrist hinge is an efficient way to create power. This student transformed a long inefficient swing into consistency and power in 5 lessons.

What club do you use mostly for straightforward chip shots just off the green? If it’s your 56 or 60 degree you might consider a change. There’s a time and a place for those clubs but if you have a lot of green to work with, you’re adding a lot of risk by using high lofted clubs. Getting the ball on the ground quicker with a pw or 9-iron is much safer and potentially more efficient.

Are you seeing inconsistency with your golf shots? Are you seeing shots fade off to the right with less power and a lot of side spin. Coming over-the-top will cause these issues. Being able to separate shoulder from hip turn will be a big factor in avoiding the steep, over-the-top move. Turning the shoulders more on the way back and slowing down the shoulder rotation in the downswing will make a difference.
