Last and final day in DC and it was a great one!!

Today our Pandas started the day off as secret agents with aliases solving a mission at the International Spy Museum. Then we toured the Washington Monument (even got to touch it), visited the Lincoln Memorial, went to the Catholic University for lunch, viewed the actual founding documents at the National Archives, and finished the day at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History!

To top it off, our pandas have gotten multiple compliments from multiple locations and multiple tour guides about our incredible behavior and respectfulness!! So proud of our Pandas! 🐼🫶🏻🏛️🇺🇸

Today our 5th grade safety patrol group hit the road bright and early, took a tour of the inside of the Capitol building, met Sheriff Lemma and Chief Rick Francis, explored the National Museum of the United States Army, visited Mount Vernon, payed our respects to President George Washington’s burial site and finished the day off with dinner and dip n’ dots!

We are exhausted and our feet ache, but we learned so much and made unforgettable memories today!!

The SCPS Book Bus came to school today! Our students got to take home books to read throughout the summer! 📚🐼

Today the 5th Grade Safety Patrols had an amazing first full first day exploring Washington D.C. and soaking up all the knowledge from our amazing tour guide, Wayne!We explored Ford’s Theater, the National Cathedral, Iwo Jima, Arlington Cemetery, the MLK Memorial, Jefferson Monument and the Capitol building! Can’t wait for another full day tomorrow! Look for another post to see tomorrow’s awesome shirt! Which animal will it be next??

Today was one of our favorite traditions at Casselberry Elementary — the Annual 5th Grade Kickball Game! 🐼

What a fun afternoon filled with laughter, teamwork, friendly competition, and so many memories our students will never forget. From big kicks to amazing catches, our 5th graders showed incredible sportsmanship and Panda Pride every step of the way! We even had a special guest appearance from Mr. Lowe!

As we celebrate these students during their final days of elementary school, moments like this remind us how special this class truly is. We are so proud of each and every one of them and can’t wait to see all the amazing things they accomplish next. ❤️🐼🖤
