We started "planting" a Chuck Morrison Casper and Businesses digital photographs page today! Trick question to start: is the first photograph added the earliest copy of a photo to go on the page? If not, why not it be from a linear standpoint?

In acknowledgment of “Today,” this day, July 22, 1897, the Hole-in-the-Wall fight occurred. The Hole-in-the-Wall was a known cattle rustler and outlaw hideout in Johnson County, Wyoming. On this particular day, local ranchers took it into their own hands to take back their stolen cattle and goods. Pictured is a 1914 image of “The Famous ‘Hole In the Wall’ Cabin.” Come find out more about the Hole-in-the-Wall and its infamous residents through these collections!

In appreciation for “Yesterday,” today we would like to highlight another photograph from our Casper Area Chamber of Commerce Collection. This photo was taken from the rail bridge above Center Street on what appears to be a chilly winter day. Though undated, some of the featured buildings, cars and businesses may suggest the decade.
