Here is what our young filmmakers will be diving into:

🐙 Stop-Motion Animation: Learn the secrets to building characters and animating them frame-by-frame.

🎚️ Sound Engineering: Record crisp audio, layer sound effects, and choose the perfect soundtrack to create suspense or comedy.

✂️ Video Editing: Splice footage, apply cool transitions, and piece your final masterpieces together like a pro.

🚀 Epic Behind-the-Scenes Field Trips: We aren't just staying in the lab!

We’re taking two incredible trips to see real media and filmmaking in action:

📡 Local News Station Tour: Get a front-row look at a working newsroom and see how live broadcasting happens.

🛸 Expedition to Hell’s Half Acre: We're traveling out to Wyoming’s most famous "alien planet" landscape to see exactly where the iconic sci-fi movie Starship Troopers was filmed!

Calling all young adventurers! If your child is ready to build confidence, learn new skills, and explore the outdoors, we have the perfect week planned.

Our Mountain Bike 101 Camp is specially designed for beginners ages 7–12. Our awesome instructors will teach everything from bike safety and balance to navigating local trails with ease.

📅 When: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
👥 Who: Beginner riders, ages 7–12
📍 Where: The Science Zone (with daily outdoor trail adventures!)

🤠 Yeehaw! Cowboy Camp is officially in the books, and what a wild, wonderful week it was! 🐎☀️

Our campers traded in their modern gear for the true pioneer experience and had the absolute best time exploring the great outdoors. From sunny park picnics to rugged trail adventures, every single day was packed with fun!

Here are some of the awesome highlights from our frontier trek:

🐴 Saddling up and riding horses like real cowboys and cowgirls!

⛺ Building awesome survival shelters using nothing but tarps and teamwork.

🥾 Conquering the wild trails and trekking across cool, rocky terrain.

🍓 Eating sweet berries along our route.

🌊 Splashing around on scenic walks by the river and enjoying lunches at different parks!

What an absolute blast we had at The Science Zone this week! Our final two days were packed to the brim with buggy adventures—including learning how to tell the difference between a dragonfly and a damselfly! (Ask your campers, they're experts now! 🐉🪰)

Our Cowboy Campers hit the trails yesterday for a wonderful day of hiking and exploring the rocky hills! 🏔️🧭

After navigating the unique, rocky terrain and enjoying the scenery, we took a much-needed lunch break to recharge. The crowd favorite? A delicious, refreshing spread of raspberries and blueberries—the perfect fuel for a beautiful, sunny day! 🫐🍓

🌞 Bugtopia Update: Mountain Hikes & Bug Bingo! 🐞✨

Yesterday, our Bugtopia crew took advantage of the beautiful, sunny weather and headed into the mountains! We braved the 95-degree heat for an awesome trekking adventure. 🏔️☀️

Our mission? To make it all the way to the waterfall! Along the way, we kept our eyes peeled and played a competitive game of Bug Bingo to spot some of our favorite local creepy-crawlies. 🕷️🔍

We started up the perfect day by cooling off and enjoying a nice lunch right by the creek. 🌊🥪

🐛🐞 BUG CAMP IN FULL SWING! 🐞🐛

Today was an absolute blast for our campers as we dived headfirst into all things creepy, crawly, and completely fascinating !

One of our missions today was exploring multiple incredible bug displays. Campers got to see the insect world in a whole new way, discovering just how awesome (and important!) these little creatures really are.

To top off an already perfect day, the group got a special visit from a crowd favorite our very own bearded dragon, Ozzie! 🦎✨ He loved meeting all the brave bug-experts-in-training and showing off his cool reptile style.

It was a day full of big smiles, amazing discoveries, and so much fun!
