Just wrapped up our summer board retreat in Saratoga, WY!! We had some great learning opportunities from our speakers, collaborated on board policy and procedures, and spent our evenings soaking in the natural hot springs. It was an amazing weekend of connecting, learning, and relaxing!

Save the date for the Wyoming School Psychology Association Fall Conference October 15–16 in Casper featuring two FULL days with nationally recognized school law attorney Jose Martín.
Sessions will address complex issues in SLD evaluations, the increasing legal focus on dyslexia, manifestation determinations, functional behavioral assessments, FERPA, and student confidentiality as well as information from your board about how this may affect you locally.
Jose Martín is a partner at Richards, Lindsay & Martín, L.L.P. where he focuses exclusively on disability law and litigation affecting schools including IDEA, Section 504, and ADA compliance. Known for making complex legal issues practical and approachable, Jose has delivered hundreds of presentations nationwide and is consistently praised for his expertise, accessibility, and sense of humor.
