🦅 Servant Leadership in Action: Eagles Making a Difference 🦅

Some of the most important lessons our students learn don’t happen behind a desk. They happen when students step into their community, roll up their sleeves, and discover that they have the power to make a difference. ❤️

Our Middle School Servant Leadership students spent the week exploring what it means to lead by serving others, focusing on four important qualities: stewardship, foresight, awareness, and healing. Then, they put those lessons into action!

Their service took them to Bethel Butikk, Bethel Oaks Memory Care, Cashton School District, and Kane Street Garden. They helped teachers prepare classrooms and our building, made tie blankets to share with families in need and Make-A-Wish at Emplify, and worked hard harvesting fresh vegetables at the garden. 🌱🧶🏫

One of the most meaningful moments came when students saw community members arrive to pick up the vegetables they had helped harvest. They realized, “We helped feed someone today.” The pride they felt was something special. ❤️

Years from now, they may not remember every lesson from this class, but we hope they tuck these experiences away in their pockets and carry them wherever life takes them—the feeling of helping someone, seeing a need and stepping forward, and realizing that leadership isn’t always about being in front.

Sometimes, the very best leaders simply ask, “How can I help?”

We are incredibly proud of our Eagles and the difference they are already making! 🦅❤️

🚀🦅 Jump Start was a BLAST!

What a great way to wrap up the final two weeks of summer and get ready to SOAR into a new school year!

Our Cashton Eagles spent the last two weeks:
📚 Reconnecting with reading & writing
➕ Jumping back into math
🤝 Building connections and friendships
🧪 Creating, exploring, and problem-solving in STEAM
🏃 Moving, playing, and having fun in PE
⏰ Getting back into familiar school routines

Most importantly, our students had the chance to reconnect with friends, teachers, learning, and our school community before the first day arrives.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing staff and families who helped make Jump Start such a positive experience for our students! ❤️

We loved having our Eagles back in the building, and now we are READY to LIFTOFF and SOAR to new heights together! 🚀🦅

🦅 Cashton Elementary Needs a Few Extra Hands!

We’re looking for parent volunteers to help with Registration Day, Tuesday, August 18th. Whether you can stay for the whole day or simply lend a hand for part of the day, we’d love to partner with our families to help everything run smoothly.

Volunteer time blocks:
• 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
• 1:00–4:00 PM
• 4:00–7:00 PM

Your time and support make a big difference for our students, staff, and families. Thank you for helping make Registration Day a great start to the year!

✈️ Young Explorers Around the World! 🌍

Ms. Fanning’s Young Explorers class traveled the globe—without leaving the classroom! 🇲🇽 Mexico ➡️ 🇰🇪 Kenya ➡️ 🇯🇵 Japan

Students created crafts inspired by each country, sampled foods, and enjoyed books that brought each culture to life.

Young minds exploring our amazing world! What a great class—and the kids had a fantastic time! ❤️👏
