Happy Letters had a fun evening hosting the Cashmere Community Meal yesterday! A big thank you to Candi Int-Hout for making a delicious dinner for everyone to enjoy! Our Happy Letters volunteers are awesome...thank you for all your help in making the evening a success! We are so grateful for the opportunity to give back, connect with our community, and share kindness in another meaningful way. Shout out to everyone who made Happy Letters…over 30 letters were created for veterans!

See you next Thursday, July 23rd, at Yonder Cider in Cashmere! Stop by anytime between 5-7 pm to learn more about Happy Letters! The Happy Letters Team will be there to answer questions or just to say hello! Every donation helps provide Happy Letter supplies for over 7000 letters, it also supports our community outreach projects and school programs. Every $20 donation will be entered into our drawing for the Summer Fun Basket. The basket is valued at over $600 and filled with summer fun activities and awesome gift cards!! A special thank you to Stones Gastropub, Sage Natural Mountain Foods, That Pizza Place, and Milepost for donating gift cards. The basket also includes gift cards to Leavenworth Adventure Park, Starbucks, Dairy Queen, and Gateway Cinema, generously purchased by our amazing supporters. Can't wait to see you there! 😀😀

What a fun time at Cashmere Founders Day! Thanks to our awesome community more than 80 Happy Letters were created for those serving our country. The letters will be mailed to our hometown service members Jake Sousley, stationed in Texas and Paola Reyna, serving overseas, along with the men and women they proudly serve beside. A big thank you to the Cashmere Chamber of Commerce for hosting an awesome Founders Day!

Happy Letters will be at Founders Day tomorrow! Stop by and say hi and help us spread a little hometown Kindness! Create a Happy Letter for two of Cashmere's own who are proudly serving our country: Jake Sousley, stationed in Texas and Paola Reyna currently serving overseas. We'll also be sending extra Happy Letters for the service members they serve with. Let's remind Jake and Paola and their fellow military members that their hometown is thinking of them and appreciates their service and sacrifice. Help us send smiles from home!

Thank you to Chris Hockett and his Random Acts of Kindness (RAK)students at Wenatchee High School, for creating heartfelt Happy Letters to share with residents at Cancer Care of NCW (Our House). Your kindness didn't stop there...you also made bookmarks and Hershey chocolate roses to brighten their day. Wenatchee RAK students ROCK! Thank you for caring and sharing! Have a wonderful summer and we will see you next school year!

Thank you again to Gesa Credit Union Local Hero's Grant for supporting our Happy Letters Veterans Appreciation Program. Because of your support we were able to include a self addressed stamped envelope with each Veteran Happy Letter, giving them the opportunity to write back to the student who created their letter. These connections are truly special to the student and veteran. Your support also helped fund Happy Letters Veteran Care Packets and the creation of 2000 Happy Letters for Veterans. Thank you for helping us spread kindness while honoring our Veterans one Happy Letter at a time!
